Collection: Treated Timber

All of our timbers are treated with Tanalith E. 

Tanlith E is a water-based, high pressure wood preservative which contains copper and proven organic biocides. Tanalith E pressure treated timber has a long-term 
protection against fungal and insect attack, including termites, for both in and out of ground contact. Tanalith E wood preservatives are approved for use by the relevant regulatory authorities in the markets it is used. The biocides contained in Tanalith E wood preservatives are being supported under the Biocidal Products Regulation.

All of our 47 x 200, 47 x 175, 47 x 150, 47 x 100 and 47 x 75 timbers are graded C24, which is is the highest quality of the softwood grades. It is a premium quality timber and is considered the strongest class, suitable for heavy load bearing. It is perfect for structural use and will act as a strong frame for decking for many years to come. 

Please note, all timber sizes are nominal, meaning the finished dimensions can be around 5-7mm smaller. As timber is a natural product, splits, shakes and splinters can occur. These are not classed as defects.
